Torque Plugin for Perodua cars

This is a Torque plugin for Malaysian made Perodua cars, particularly older cars which does not support generic OBD protocols. Read real time data, read error codes.!! (note that this version is limited to 1.3 litre engines, future updates will cover 1.5litre engines soon.!)

This is the free version with limited sensors/parameters and features. More parameters (a lot more..!) and features are available in the paid version, soon to be released. Make sure you watch this space...!

Prerequisite:

1. This is a Torque plugin. You need to get Torque installed in your device. This plugin will NOT work alone. Also, make sure you use later versions of Torque. Torque with too old version would not be supported.

2. You need ELM327 compliant adapter. Make sure you do not use ELM327 version 2.1 which does not support k-line communications. Get adapters confirmed to work from me or from ahmad hamidon (you can get it from http://bit.ly/obd2malaysia ).

3. Please also make sure you follow the instruction below. And make sure connection to ECU is OK before scan error, erase error or check the status to avoid app crashes.

Important notes..!

Later versions of android, for saving battery life, there is phone setting to stop apps from starting automatically. Please ensure you have set this plugin to autostart. The same thing will need to be done if you have autostart manager in your device.

Typically, the settings are in battery settings of the device.

Installation procedures:

New vehicles with new engine such as Axia does not require any setup. Vehicles with older engines are supported by this plugin and requires special setup as below:

1. This plugin requires full access to OBD device. Check the 'Allow plugin full access' in Settings --> Plugins

2. For 1.3 litre engines or smaler, create a new vehicle profile in Torque. Under Menu, select 'Vehicle Profile'. then click 'create new profile'...,

3. Name the profile 'PERODUA1.3'. Scroll to the bottom and click 'Show advance settings'

4. Scroll to the bottom. For 1.3 litre engines, in 'Preferred OBD Protocol' select 'ISO 14230(fast init,10.4baud)'

5. Click 'Save'"

6. For 1.5 litre engines, it is under testing and not yet supported in this published version, it will be soon..! Watch this space..!

7. Create another vehicle profile and name it 'Blank' scroll to the bottom and 'Save'. Do not put any advanced settings

8. Select the correct Perodua vehicle profile you created earlier everytime you want scan by tapping on Menu --> 'Vehicle Profile'-->select the ones that you created. For other vehicles, use the 'Blank' profile.

9. Create custom PIDs from Settings --> Manage extra PID/Sensors --> tap settings and select 'Add predefined set'. Select 'Perodua PIDs

10. Create displays in 'Realtime Information' by tapping Realtime Information --> go to empty page -->tap menu --> Add display -->pick your meter type --> Select PIDs that start with {PERODUA}.

11. Make sure you go to this page every time you want to use Perodua cars. Otherwise, Torque wouldn't connect to your ECU. You may need to wait for a while at this page for Torque to connect to your car

12. Now you are ready to use the Torque for scanning your car.

Ini adalah plugin Torque untuk kereta Perodua buatan Malaysia, terutamanya kereta yang lebih tua yang tidak menyokong protokol OBD generik. Membaca data masa sebenar, membaca kod ralat. !! (Ambil perhatian bahawa versi ini adalah terhad kepada 1.3 enjin liter, kemas kini masa hadapan akan meliputi enjin 1.5litre tidak lama lagi.!)

Ini adalah versi percuma dengan sensor / parameter dan ciri-ciri yang terhad. Lebih parameter (banyak lagi ..!) Dan ciri-ciri yang ada dalam versi yang dibayar, tidak lama lagi akan dikeluarkan. Pastikan anda menonton ruang ini ...!

Pra-syarat:

1. Ini adalah plugin Torque. Yang anda perlukan untuk Torque dipasang dalam peranti anda. Plugin ini TIDAK akan berfungsi semata-mata. Juga, pastikan anda menggunakan versi kemudian Torque. Tork dengan versi terlalu tua tidak akan disokong.

2. Anda perlu ELM327 penyesuai Syariah. Pastikan anda tidak menggunakan ELM327 versi 2.1 yang tidak menyokong komunikasi k-line. Dapatkan penyesuai disahkan untuk bekerja dari saya atau daripada ahmad Hamidon (anda boleh mendapatkannya dari http://bit.ly/obd2malaysia).

3. Sila pastikan anda mengikuti arahan di bawah. Dan membuat sambungan pasti ECU adalah OK sebelum kesilapan imbasan, memadam kesilapan atau menyemak status untuk mengelakkan kemalangan app.

Nota PENTING..!

versi kemudian android, untuk menyelamatkan nyawa bateri, terdapat tetapan telefon untuk menghentikan aplikasi dari bermula secara automatik. Sila pastikan anda mempunyai set plugin ini untuk autostart. Perkara yang sama perlu dilakukan jika anda mempunyai pengurus autostart dalam peranti anda.

prosedur pemasangan:

kenderaan baru dengan enjin baru seperti Axia tidak memerlukan sebarang persediaan. Kenderaan dengan enjin lama disokong oleh plugin ini dan memerlukan persediaan khas seperti di bawah:

1. Plugin ini memerlukan akses penuh ke peranti OBD. Memeriksa 'Benarkan akses penuh plugin' dalam Tetapan -> Plugins

2. Bagi 1.3 enjin liter atau smaler, membuat profil kenderaan baru di Torque. Di bawah Menu, pilih 'Profil Vehicle'. kemudian klik 'membuat profil baru' ...

3. Namakan profil 'PERODUA1.3'. Tatal ke bawah dan klik 'Tunjukkan tetapan terlebih dahulu'

4. Tatal ke bawah. Untuk 1.3 enjin liter, dalam 'Protokol OBD Preferred' pilih 'ISO 14230 (init cepat, 10.4baud)

5. Klik 'Simpan' "

6. Untuk enjin 1.5 liter, ia adalah dalam ujian dan tidak lagi disokong dalam versi ini diterbitkan, ia akan tidak lama lagi ..! Menonton ruang ini ..!

7. Buat satu lagi profil kenderaan dan menamakan ia 'Blank' tatal ke bahagian bawah dan 'Save'. Jangan letakkan sebarang tetapan lanjutan

8. Pilih profil kenderaan Perodua yang betul anda buat sebelum ini setiap kali anda mahu mengimbas dengan mengetik pada Menu -> 'Vehicle Profile' -> pilih orang-orang yang anda buat. Bagi kenderaan lain, menggunakan profil 'Blank'.

9. Buat PID adat dari Tetapan -> Urus tambahan PID / Sensor -> tetapan ketik dan pilih 'Tambah set yang telah ditetapkan. Pilih 'Perodua PID

10. Buat memaparkan dalam 'Maklumat Realtime' dengan mengetik Maklumat Realtime -> pergi ke halaman kosong -> menu paip -> Tambah paparan -> memilih jenis meter anda -> Pilih PID yang bermula dengan {PERODUA}.

11. Pastikan anda pergi ke laman ini setiap kali anda mahu menggunakan kereta Perodua. Jika tidak, Torque tidak akan menyambung ke ECU anda. Anda mungkin perlu tunggu sebentar di laman ini secara Torque untuk menyambung ke kereta anda

12. Sekarang anda sudah bersedia untuk menggunakan Torque untuk mengimbas kereta anda.
